Marc-Jacques Maechler

Since my 15th life year I know that I am a synaesthete. Since the year 2002 I am dedicating with a great interest and passion to this issue resulting different works about, presentations, surveys and research, development of diverse synaesthesia tests and of course finally synaesthesia.com. Through my education as Biologist I have the understanding and capacity to follow the progress of science on this field.
Synaesthesia also had an influence on my personal development. I learnt that it is very important to give attention on the perception and to enjoy the facets of this colourful world. I see it as my mission to make synaesthesia more known and to correct old opinions, myths and wrong information. I like flowers and I am really convinced that we have to take more care on this planet. We are also a part of nature therefore we have to protect nature to protect human beings.
